I was surprised to find that some of us are always cutting up the English newspapers into pieces. Why did you do such a thing? Were you angry? But you were just being very good students. Many of us improve English by using English newspapers. For example: some are cutting titles, stories and pictures, and then pasting them in their notebooks, I have seen some of their work and it is very creative, the titles, pictures and stories are cut and pasted in the left side pages of their notebooks. In the spaces between the cuttings, they have added beautiful drawings and clever comments. Thy have used the right side pages of the notebooks as banks to make their vocabulary lists.
In fact, the English newspapers are very useful in your schoolwork. The stories are written with interesting events and they can help you with your studies. So I think it’s a good idea to reference for information when writing articles or doing homework.
