李阳自述

Hi; this is Li Yang. I graduated from Lanzhou University and majored in Mechanical Engineering. I was once a poor student of English and it was my biggest headache and trouble maker. I got sick and tired of learning boring grammar rules and lifeless words. But through hard work in practicing speaking English and breaking away from the traditional grammar games, I found myself a totally different and exciting new world. Not only did I pass Band 4 and Band 6 College English exams very easily with high marks, but more importantly, I began to use English. Finally, I developed a new Language Cracking System myself. I began to teach German not long after I started to learn this terribly difficult language in my own way. It was a miracle but I made it. To speak good English, I think one year of study should be enough for any diligent and intelligent person. Mere exposure to English will not enable you to speak English. If you want to drive you have to get in the car and drive, if you want to dance, you have to turn on the music and dance, if you want to swim, you have to jump in the water and swim .In fact. As you slowly open your eyes, look around, notice where the light comes into your room, listen carefully, see if there are any new sounds you can recognize; feel with your body and spirit, see if you can sense the freshness in the air.

Yes, yes, yes, it’s a new day, it’s a different day, and it’s a bright day! And most importantly, it is a new beginning for your life, a beginning where you are going to make new decisions, take new actions, make new friends and take your

life to a totally unprecedented level.

In your mind’s eye, you can see clearly the things you want to have, the places you intend to go, the relationships you desire to develop, and the positions you aspire to reach. You can hear your laughers of joy and happiness on the day when everything happens as you dream! You can see the smiles on the people around you when the magic moment strikes. You can feel your face is getting red, your heart is beating fast, and your blood is rushing all over your body, to every single corner of your being!

You know all this is real as long as you are confident, passionate, and committed. And you are confident, you are passionate, you are committed! You will no longer fear making new sounds, showing new facial expressions, using your body in new ways, approaching new people, and asking new questions. You will live every single day of your life with absolute passion, and you will show your passion through the words you speak and the actions you take. You will focus all your time and effort on the most important goals of your life. You will never succumb to challenges and hardships; you will never waver in your pursuit of excellence. After all, you are the best, and you deserve the best!

As your coach and friend, I can assure you the door to all the best things in the world will open to you, but the key to that door is in your hand. You must do your part, you must faithfully follow the plans you make and take the actions you plan, you must never quit, you must never fear! I know you must do it, you can do it, you will do it, and you will succeed! Now stand firm and tall, make a fist, get excited

Rome Wasn’t Built In a Day

Learning English is like building a house. Laying a strong foundation is the first and most important step. In other words, you should read and speak English every day. Memorizing new words and phrases is also helpful. Like building a house, learning English takes sometime. So, don’t be impatient. Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day!

Walking is the Prelude of Running

The process off learning English is learning to walk. At first .you will crawl slowly and feel unsure about which words to use and how to pronounce them correctly. But soon you will be ready to take your first steps by using simple phrases and sentences. Each new word and sentence you master will add to your confidence when speaking English. One day you will look back and be shocked how far you have come. At this rate you will speak well in the near future. Because everybody must learn to walk before they can run.

Success Never Comes Easily

Each of us is the author of our own story and there is new page to be written every single day. We can’t all do great things. But we can only do little things with great love . Great love can conquer any obstacles. Remember and apply this to your life every single day.

My first tripe to America 我的首次美国之行

Ladies and gentlemen，I just got back from America yesterday .this is my fist visit to America. I’d like to say a few words about my first trip. Everything is new and fresh. I got up early to exercise in the park. I visited many interesting places. I met a lot of interesting people. I felt a little nervous, but I still talked to people. They were very friendly and helpful. I had a great first impression of American people.

This trip was the first time I had to use English in real life. My English was not perfect, but I survived. The more I use English, the easier it became. I’m still working very hard on my English. You know practice make perfect. Next time I go to American, I won’t feel nervous at all.

Just do it

Many people put off until tomorrow what they can do today. They always look for excuses to postpone doing something. In the end, it never gets done. If we

leave things undone, we will eventually worry. This will then cause unnecessary stress. Therefore, if you have this bad habit, it’s best to get rid of it and do things as soon as possible.

Strive for today 为今天而奋斗

Ladies and gentlemen, I want to share a most important quote with you, “yesterday is a memory, tomorrow is a dream, live for today!” I hope that you will try your best to use your unique talents to make today productive and fruitful. You can not worrying about your mistakes of yesterday. You shouldn’t waste your energy worrying about will happen tomorrow. The only thing you can control is what you can do today. Make the most today and you will win everything. Thank you for you time and attention
