T: This semester is going to end and the summer vacation is coming. What are you going to do? SS: do some part time jobs T: That is a good idea.
SS: travel to some places of interests
T: If you are going to travel, then where are you going for a trip?
The teacher asks some students their opinions and write them on the blackboard. Step 3 (8 mins)
T: Besides of the places you have mentioned, I want to introduce more to you. Show pictures of places of interests both at home and abroad and ask students to guess their English names; if they do not know, then the teacher tell them and give a brief introduction. Step 4 (4 mins)
T: If you are given a chance to travel to the place you wish to go, then which kind of transport do you prefer to use?

T: There are so many kinds of transport in all. But when we travel we usually choose a better one fit for us according to their features. Now can you compare the advantages and disadvantages of them in groups? Later we will fill a chart about it.

T: OK, we just talked much about travel places and kinds of transport, but that is not all about traveling. What else should we think about?
